SV	En de burgers van Sichem bestelden tegen hem, die op de hoogten der bergen lagen legden, en al wie voorbij hen op den weg doorging, beroofden zij; en het werd Abimelech aangezegd.
WLC	וַיָּשִׂ֣ימוּ לֹו֩ בַעֲלֵ֨י שְׁכֶ֜ם מְאָרְבִ֗ים עַ֚ל רָאשֵׁ֣י הֶהָרִ֔ים וַיִּגְזְל֗וּ אֵ֛ת כָּל־אֲשֶׁר־יַעֲבֹ֥ר עֲלֵיהֶ֖ם בַּדָּ֑רֶךְ וַיֻּגַּ֖ד לַאֲבִימֶֽלֶךְ׃ פ
Trans.	wayyāśîmû lwō ḇ^a‘ălê šəḵem mə’ārəḇîm ‘al rā’šê hehārîm wayyiḡəzəlû ’ēṯ kāl-’ăšer-y^a‘ăḇōr ‘ălêhem badāreḵə wayyugaḏ la’ăḇîmeleḵə:

AC	כה וישימו לו בעלי שכם מארבים על ראשי ההרים ויגזלו את כל אשר יעבר עליהם בדרך ויגד לאבימלך {פ}
ASV	And the men of Shechem set liers-in-wait for him on the tops of the mountains, and they robbed all that came along that way by them: and it was told Abimelech.
BE	And the townsmen of Shechem put secret watchers on the tops of the mountains, and they made attacks on all who went by on the road and took their goods; and word of this came to Abimelech.
Darby	And the citizens of Shechem set liers in wait for him on the tops of the mountains, and they robbed all that came along that way by them. And it was told Abimelech.
ELB05	Und die Bürger von Sichem legten einen Hinterhalt wider ihn auf die Gipfel der Berge, und sie beraubten jeden, der des Weges bei ihnen vorüberzog. Und es wurde dem Abimelech berichtet.
LSG	Les habitants de Sichem placèrent en embuscade contre lui, sur les sommets des montagnes, des gens qui dépouillaient tous ceux qui passaient près d'eux sur le chemin. Et cela fut rapporté à Abimélec.
Sch	Und die Bürger von Sichem bestellten Wegelagerer auf den Höhen der Berge, die beraubten alle, welche auf der Straße bei ihnen vorüberwandelten. Und es ward dem Abimelech angesagt.
